A better sauce than you've ever had out of a jar! Noodles never had it so good.
In a pot, brown 1 lb ground beef. Drain. Add 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce, 1 (6 oz) can tomato paste, 2 cups of water and seasoning mix. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and cook for at least 30 minutes. Serve over pasta.
Here's other ways to enjoy this mix from our consultants:
Crockpot Lasagna from Cindy Mitchell
2 lbs ground beef
1 package of Kitcheneez Spaghetti Sauce, prepared as directed
2 cups mozzarella cheese
2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 large 2% cottage or ricotta cheese
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
1 tsp Italian seasoning or use 1 tsp of our seasoning before preparing as directed for sauce
1 package lasagna noodles
Spray crockpot with cooking spray. Cook and drain meat. Add spaghetti sauce and mix well. In a bowl, combine cheese, egg, seasoning. Layer uncooked noodles into crock pot. You may need to break some to make them fit. Spread 1/2 of the cottage cheese mixture over noodles, then half of the sauce, mozzarella and cheddar cheeses. Repeat layers. Cook on low for 3 hours. Don't cook longer or noodles may become over cooked.
